Josie is the principal flute with the Greenville Symphony. She has also performed with Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, Westmoreland Symphony, Johnstown Symphony, and Altoona Symphony. She plays piano for church services at Port Vue United Methodist Church and also work as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University, conducting the flute ensembles. Teaching children is one of the most rewarding aspects of her week. She strives to engage each child in a way that is educational, fun and age appropriate. As a result, each child gains confidence that carries over from the instrument to other areas of daily life.
