Lili Cai

M.M in Piano performance, Duquesne University; B.M Piano Performance, Colorado State University as a student of Dr.Janet Landreth.  Ms. Cai is studying for her Artist diploma with scholarship in piano performance, with emphasis in Collaborative piano, with Dean and pianist David Allen Wehr at Duquesne University.

Ms. Cai is originally from Guangzhou, China, and started her piano study at age 4 with Ms. Meide Huang, principal pianist of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Cai passed the ABRSM Dip ABRSM and won the Silver Medal in the 2012 Tokyo International Piano Competition and the Bronze Medal in the 2014 International Keyboard Odyssiad and Festival.

Ms. Cai joined PMA in 2017, and completed Suzuki training with Kiki Barley.  Lili has experience using the Faber Piano Adventure Method and ABRSM exam.  Her students earn good grades in ABRSM, both in performance and theory, and have won prizes in the Hong Kong International Piano Competition.

Ms. Cai currently plays as a collaborative pianist with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater.
