Music Education Classes

The following classes are offered on at PMA Carnegie to enhance your music education.

Music Theory – taught from pre-reading through advanced levels

10:15-11:00 am Saturdays in Carnegie with Doris:  Book 2 and above 

11:00-11:45 am Saturdays in Carnegie with Doris:  Pre-twinkle and Book 1



The following courses are for more advanced students:
Chamber Music – for students of any instrument who would like to play in a trio, quartet, or other small ensemble.  Please contact the director if interested.  
PMA Chamber Orchestra – for string students in Suzuki Books 3 – 7 who pass an audition, this group meets every Sunday evening in January and February and presents a concert in late February or early March.   Please see the PMACO page on this website.
Composition and Advanced Theory – private lessons are available for advanced students who are planning to study music in college.  Please contact the director if interested.
